Clinical Psychologist / Clinical Neuroscientist
Dr Michelle Byrnes is a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuroscientist with
over 25 years of clinical, assessment and research experience. Her expertise
includes psychological therapy, functional neurocognitive and screening
assessments, clinical research, teaching, various adjunct academic positions
(University of WA & Murdoch University) and roles with over 50 peer
reviewed journal publications. Dr Michelle Byrnes is currently a Consultant
Clinical Psychologist and Associate Professor at the Perron Institute of
Neurological and Translational Sciences and Adjunct Associate Professor at
Murdoch University. Dr Michelle Byrnes is the Chief Investigator in a range
of clinical research projects and has amassed a vast history of experience in
neuroscience, clinical psychology, neuroplasticity, neurorehabilitation and
cognitive retraining across all ages in the community, within hospital
rehabilitation services, not for profit organisations and private industry.
Dr Michelle Byrnes has completed advanced level intensive training in the
latest state of the art therapeutic and assessment methodologies to assist
people to make meaningful and valued changes in their lives. More
